This week’s picture shows a vineyard with a shed in the evening light. Autumn started its game to stir in some red leaves creating a strong color contrast. The regular lines of the grapevines are only broken by a shed, which is placed at the upper-right right intersection according to the rule-of-thirds. The lack of depth in the image makes the geometric forms and colors the main subject of this minimalistic autumn picture. Not every picture has to be as simple as this, but many photographs are cluttered with content. Often, keeping individual photographs simple yields stronger images. Remember that there can be multiple pictures taken.
