This week’s picture was taken on a walk at the Moldau river south of Prague.  It was quite warm, occasionally raining, and the thunder was rolling nearly constantly. This however felt way more comfortable than the 36°C of the other day.

The rocky riverbanks of the Moldau are nice for hiking. They offer regularly wide views over the valley with the meandering Moldau …

…, but also offer a niche for many plants and animals to thrife.
